NEW- Education for Reconciliation: Finding Our Way

Tue, May 4, 2021, 10:00 – 11:00 AM EDT
Virtual

The aim of this workshop is to introduce the project of integrating Indigenous perspectives into the curriculum across our disciplines, in our classrooms, and throughout the delivery of our professional services on campus. Meeting as both Indigenous people and Settlers, this introductory and conversational-styled workshop, provides a focused and practical framework to begin thinking about integrating Indigenous perspectives. This framework lays out the foundation for individualized program/teamwork across our disciplines to collaborate in the co-design of curriculum, implementing practical approaches in the classroom, and developing strategies for professional service delivery.
